The Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Ohio Local 5 is accepting applications for the upcoming construction season. We work in the second oldest profession in the world and our proud Local has been in the Cleveland area for more than 150 years. We are always looking for people who are interested in joining us and starting a career working in one of our skilled masonry trades.
We have unlimited resources available to help you develop into a successful career.
Available Masonry positions: Brick and Block, Restoration, Stone, Marble, Terrazzo, Landscape Hardscape, Concrete Finisher.
At the heart of Bricklayers Local 5, we teach the necessary skills through Joint Apprenticeship and Journeyman level upgrade training to become the “Best Hands in the Business” of Bricklaying and Allied Craftsmanship.
Through Unionism and the standards set therein, we promise to fight for market share, to guarantee workers’ rights, benefits and pension, to push for the best and most affordable insurance protection
and to continuously develop our preventative measures through safety training.
